Lee England, Jr. (born March 15, 1984) is a classically trained violinist and educator, from Waukegan, IL, a suburb of Chicago. Known as "The Soul Violinist",〔https://www.facebook.com/thesoulviolinist〕 Lee was first discovered by mogul Sean Combs during an audition for Combs' Making His Band television show. ==Early life==
England was born to Sylvia and Lee England, Sr. He began taking formal violin lessons at age 6. He graduated from Southern Illinois University with a B.S. in Music Education, B.S. in Audio Engineering, and B.A. in Violin Performance in 2008.〔https://www.linkedin.com/in/leeenglandjr〕 He accepted a music teaching position at John M. Smyth Elementary School in Chicago.
